SensUs competition 2017

The finals of SensUs 2017  were held at TU/e on 8-9 September. A report and photos can be found here. A video is available here. In different ways people of the MBx group contribute to the SensUs competition. Max Scheepers and Leo van IJzendoorn coached the students of team T.E.S.T., the TU/e SensUs team that participated in the competition and developed a biosensor for the detection of NT-proBNP in blood plasma. Menno Prins coaches the group of students who organize the competition as part of a track in the TU/e Honors Academy. SensUs 2018 will focus on the measurement of vancomycin, which is an important antibiotic. Teams will participate from USA, Canada, Egypt, China, Sweden, Denmark, Scotland, England, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Germany, and Switzerland. SensUs is supported by the campus program of EIT Health.
