The term ‘alumni’ pertains to everyone who graduated at TU/e in any of its educational programs. Are you a graduate of the master Biomedical Engineering, Medical Engineering, former Biomedical Mechanical Engineering, or the PDEng-program Qualified Medical Engineer? Did you receive your PhD degree at the department of Biomedical Engineering (BME)? Then you are considered as an alumnus/alumna of the department of BME. Our department is very proud of its alumni and regularly hosts special events for them in collaboration with Willem Einthoven, the alumni association for TU/e biomedical engineers.
To create the best possible network of BME alumni, it is essential that all of the alumni are registered via Alumninet, the online alumni network of the TU/e Alumni Office.
More importantly, registration with the TU/e Alumni Office gives you several advantages:
- You can update your profile on Alumninet at any time and sign up for activities
- You will receive the magazine Slash free of costs
- You will have access to the Student Sport Center at the TU/e for a very reasonable price
- Your library card remains valid
- You will be invited to both university-wide and BME-specific alumni events.
For those who have not registered yet, follow this link.
Alumni Coach Network
The Alumni Coach Network is an online network connecting students and young professionals with alumni who want to share experiences and insights that they have gained during their career. By doing so, they can help students in making choices during their studies and with their further career planning. Next to that, young graduates can apply to be coached by a more experienced alumnus. Are you interested in coaching Biomedical Engineering students or alumni, or do you want to be coached by fellow biomedical engineers? Check out the Alumni Coach Network.
