Associations

Students and staff at the Biomedical Engineering department are active in various associations. Find out more:

Study association Protagoras

Protagoras is the study association of Biomedical Engineering at the TU/e. Its purpose is foremost to represent students at the education institute and to take care of studying materials, such as books and exam bundles. Furthermore, they organise lectures, symposia and excursions.
Besides this, the association is of course also home to sociability. In the society area, the Prothok, students can relax and lunch. Every Thursday there is a get-together in the 'In Vivo' meeting place. All these activities are organised by students.

The Willem Einthoven Alumni Association is building up a network of alumni at various organizations, which you, as an alumnus, can benefit from in both your professional and social lives. Keeping in touch with engineers who share your educational background is not only very useful for building your own professional network, but also highly enjoyable. These are people who share the same interests, experiences and history with you.
