Gabriela Belsley is a master student in Biomedical Engineering, specializing in the track of medical image analysis. She did an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Minho, Portugal. During her internship at TU/e and Philips Healthcare she developed an algorithm for automatic segmentation of the Left Ventricle Endocardium in Time-resolved 3D Cardiac MRI under the supervision of Professor Marcel Breeuwer and Joao Tourais. Currently, she is working on her graduation project on PET/CT images corrected for breathing motion using a 1D Ultrasound signal and MRI images under the supervision of Professor Josien Pluim and Dr. Bruno Madore at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
