Eline van Haaften wins TU/e Final Project Award 2016

During the closing of the academic year 2016, Eline van Haaften MSc received the TU/e Final Project Award 2016 for her graduation project “The initial repair response of articular cartilage after mechanically induced damage.” Eline van Haaften did her graduation work at the department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) under supervison of dr. René van Donkelaar and prof. Keita Ito.

Eline continues her work in BME in a PhD project within the research group Soft Tissue Biomechanics and Tissue Engineering in the InSiTeVx project, let by dr.dr. Patricia Dankers. In her PhD project "tissue homeostasis in in-situ tissue engineered vascular access grafts" she is be supervised by prof. Carlijn Bouten and dr. Nicholas Kurniawan.
