About the Urban Planning Group
In particular, the focus in the research efforts of the group, is in developing models and integrate these in decision support systems to support design and policy decisions in urban planning. The Urban Planning Group consists of approximately thirty scholars (members vary) specializing in urban planning research. Specific topics are transportation, retailing, tourism and recreation, and housing. The Urban Planning Group is a multi-disciplinary group: the background of the scholars range from urban design, transportation research, computer science, urban planning, artificial intelligence to social psychology.
