The Electromagnetics (EM) group contributes to applied electromagnetics research by developing new modeling strategies that enable the analysis, design and synthesis of complicated three-dimensional structures. It also applies state-of-the-art to several applications. Antenna research forms a bridge to radio communication, which is the second pillar of the group. In this area, we aim at contributing to the next generation wireless systems, both by analyzing and harnessing the communication channel, and by developing new communication and deployment strategies.
