Computational Electromagnetics

The analysis and design of large complex geometrics at both microwave and optical frequencies applied to a large range of applications. With over forty years of experience, the EM group has a strong background in applying in-house developed electromagnetic models to develop new concepts and technologies for phased-array antennas and fiber design. A particular challenge is the electromagnetic behaviour of large finite structures with a high degree of regularity or periodicity or structures in a complicated environment, for which we have developed our LEGO strategy.

Applications range from phased-arry antennas to EBG materials, as well as applications of stochastically behaving systems like mode-stirred chambers.
