Graduate programs (Master's programs, pre-Master's program, Designer's programs and PhD programs)

Master's programs

Admission to one of the TU/e Master's programs depends on your prior education. Some Dutch diplomas may qualify students directly for admission to a TU/e Master's program. Other diplomas may mean that you must first apply for admission. In some cases you may have to follow a pre-Master's program.

Use the following links to find out more about the admission requirements for your situation, and the application and enrollment procedures.

Designer's programs (traineeships engineering design - PDEng)

After obtaining your Master of Science degree, you may apply for a Designer's program. These 2 year programs are offered by the Stan Ackermans Institute.

Taking a PhD

After obtaining your Master of Science degree, you may apply for a PhD position at TU/e. PhD programs at all Dutch universities (and therefore also at TU/e) differ from PhD programs in other countries in that PhD students are employed by the university.
