Tuition fees 2017-2018

The table below shows the various tuition fees for 2017-2018, along with the eligibility requirements that need to be fulfilled. Payment of tuition fees can take place in three different ways.

At TU/e, the same enrollment fees apply for part-time students as for full-time students.

1Requirements concerning nationality:

  • You are a national of an EU member state or Norway, Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Suriname, or
  • You are a national of another state but your residence permit entitles you to a student grant. In order to establish whether this applies to you, you can use the nationality chart on the DUO website.

2 Administrative costs (€24) are charged for the additional administration incurred for payments related to Master’s courses; these costs are equal to those charged for paying tuition fees in installments.

Transitional arrangement

  • A Bachelor's degree student who doesn’t fulfill the requirement regarding nationality and has started the Bachelor’s degree program before September 1st 2016 pays a tuition fee of  €8,825 for academic year 2017-2018 (Transitional Bachelor's degree student ‘high’ institute rate).
  • A Master’s degree student who doesn’t fulfill the requirement regarding nationality and has started the Master’s degree program before September 1st 2016 pays a tuition fee of  €13,790 for academic year 2017-2018 (Transitional Master’s degree student ‘high’ institute rate).

Extraordinary Programs

  • The institute rate for Summa Tech EER-Students is set equal to the statutory rate until 2020.
