Eventpad won the Best 2-pager award at the European Venture Program
5 countries in Europe, 22 startups, 1 best executive summary.
The European Venture Programme offers 20 young start-ups exclusive access to the entrepreneurship expertise and networking resources available at the EuroTech Universities. The Eurotech Alliance consisting of the TU/E, DTU Copenhagen, EPFL Lausanne, TUM Munich, and the recently joined by l’X Polytechnique Paris organized an intensive 12-day programme that takes entrepreneurs on a journey to four different ecosystems, where a mix of thematic workshops, company visits, and public pitching competitions enable future startups to grow their business beyond borders. Every university is allowed to bring their top 5 startups to this annual program.
PhD Candidate Bram Cappers participated in the program with his Eventpad technology to visualize system patterns and vulnerabilities in large event collections.
During this program he won the prize for the best 2-pager with his plan for Eventpad. Earlier the Eventpad team won the IEEE Visual Analytics Science and Technology (VAST) Challenge 2017, Best Demo Award at ICT.Open 2018 and presented the technology at Black hat USA.
The university encourages researchers and students to valorize scientific results in industry. We congratulate the Eventpad team with their wonderful achievement and hope to hear more of their activities in the future.
