I am a postdoctoral researcher at TU Eindhoven working with Tanja Lange in the PQCRYPTO project. My research focuses on post-quantum cryptography. I am especially interested in signature schemes that resist quantum-computer-aided attacks. So far, I spent a lot of my time working on hash-based signatures. My main goal is to get post-quantum cryptography into practice. To achieve this, it is necessary to develop schemes for which reliable security estimates can be made and that meet practical performance requirements. To learn more about my research, have a look at my publications and talks page.
Before my current position, I was a postdoctoral researcher in the cryptographic implementations group at TU Eindhoven, working with Daniel J. Bernstein. I did my PhD in the cryptography and computer algebra group at TU Darmstadt under the supervision of Johannes Buchmann. Before starting my PhD, I worked as a research fellow at Fraunhofer SIT in Darmstadt. I received my Diploma in computer science from TU Darmstadt.
