Abstracts

The conference invites submission of abstracts describing original works in the field of non-equilibrium gas flows.

Abstracts should be 200-1000 words, only contain text, and provide detailed information on the objectives of the study, the methodology, the main results and major conclusions. Abstracts are reviewed primarily on the basis of alignment with the topics of the conference.

Abstract submission is closed.

Conference Papers or Extended Abstracts

After abstract acceptance, a full paper (maximum 10 pages) or an extended abstract (2 pages) should be submitted:

  • A full paper will be included in the conference proceedings and its summary will be included in the book of abstracts.
  • An extended abstract will only be included in the book of abstracts.

Conference paper submission is closed.

 

Special issue

Following the conference completion, a selected number of full conference papers, recommended by the reviewers, may be submitted for further consideration for publication in a special issue "SI: Non-equilibrium Gas Flows" of the European Journal of Mechanics - B / Fluids.

Papers should be submitted via the regular submission page. Select during the submission process the issue “SI: Non-equilibrium Gas Flows” from the dropdown menu, so that all papers of the special issue will be routed together in the system.

Please also send an e-mail to us, so that we can check whether your paper is successfully uploaded for the special issue.

All papers will be reviewed according to the usual procedure of the European Journal of Mechanics - B / Fluids.

 

Important dates:

The time schedule for this special issue on Non-equilibrium Gas Flows is as follows:

  • EXTENDED deadline for submission of journal papers: 1 MAY 2016
  • Deadline for revised papers: 1 October 2016
  • Notification of acceptance: November/December 2016
  • Special issue: Early 2017
