Heat Power aims to realize a first real-scale pilot system of the RCG (Rankine Compression Gas turbine) in a CHP (combined heat and power) application for a greenhouse in the Netherlands. The pilot-RCG will have an electrical power of about 1200kW. As soon as the pilot system is operational, a commercial version of this 1200kW shaft power RCG will be available for CHP and Cogeneration applications in Western Europe. Heat Power is presently still located at the grounds of the Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, but will move to a commercial premises for the assembling of commercial RCG systems.
