There are three alumni associations within the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Registration at one or more of these associations means a nice opportunity to get in touch with former fellow students.
The Association of Mechanical Engineering Engineers Eindhoven (WIE) is the alumni association for graduate TU/e mechanical engineers. WIE is a network association with around 800 members and it organizes readings and excursions as well as offers a platform for the sharing of knowledge and experience after the study period. If you are a TU/e mechanical engineering graduate and would like to get in touch with former fellow students, join WIE. Membership is free. You can register via the website of WIE, where you can also take a look at the planned activities.
The Werktuigkundige Alumni Stichting Simon Stevin (WAS) is the alumni association of W.S.V. Simon Stevin, the study association of the department of Mechanical Engineering. The WAS is exclusive to former active members of the study association. By organizing and facilitating reunions and networking activities, the WAS tries to keep committee members, board members and fellow students in contact after graduation. You can send an email to alumni@for more information or you can become a member by connecting to the simonstevin.tue.nl LinkedIn group WAS Simon Stevin.
Alumni Systems Engineering (ASE) is an association for graduates from the Systems Engineering research group. ASE was established in 1996 and has around 250 members. The association encourages contact between graduates of the de Systems Engineering group and current students. Each year a reunion is organized, with an update on current research on the program and opportunity for former fellow students to meet again. Register as a member of ASE by e-mail.
