Taylor & Francis

Open access publishing in Taylor & Francis journals
Corresponding authors affiliated to TU/e or other Dutch universities can publish their papers open access free of charge in more than 2,300 Taylor & Francis and Routledge hybrid journals up to a national total of 1448 in 2018, 1499 in 2019 and 1551 in 2020. If the maximum is reached, the agreement will be terminated and publications from Dutch academic institutions will no longer be eligible for free open access publishing. Eligible publication types include original research articles; editorials, announcements and book reviews are not included in the agreement.

How to publish your article in open access free of charge
To publish open access free of charge it is important to use your TU/e email-address. Taylor & Francis will recognize TU/e affiliated corresponding authors based on their email-domain. After acceptance of your paper the corresponding author will receive an email asking to choose an open access publishing agreement. After that your article will be automatically published in open access.
