Young Alumni Network is on its way
A new network for young alumni that graduated up to ten years ago from Eindhoven University of Technology will launch on 22 February with a festive opening and lecture from Bas Haring. The Young Alumni Network (or shortly YAN) will assist young alumni in their personal development. On the agenda there will be lectures, workshops, visits to companies and informal get-togethers as to learn from the experiences of others and to expand one’s network.
According to TU/e alumnus and chairman of the YAN Loek Overes the new network is meant to keep the university in touch with their graduates and help them in their further career. “I'm hoping the YAN will be able to keep young alumni connected to the university. We aim to organize activities that are interesting for young alumni and inspire alumni to keep developing, also after their graduation.”
To be part of the YAN alumni need to register in the database Alumninet. With that alumni can benefit from a number of services, such as discounts on subscriptions and courses. They will also get invitations for events and activities specifically tailored to young alumni, such as inspiring workshops, visit to companies, lectures and informal get-togethers. The YAN also organizes activities for alumni abroad.
On 22 February the Opening Event takes place with a lecture from prof.dr. Bas Haring.
