Privacy

Eindhoven University of Technology respects your privacy. We therefore treat and secure your personal data with the utmost care and confidentiality, while complying with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG). We use your data for recruitment and selection purposes and only retain these if you are appointed. We will not provide information to third parties unless by law we are required to do so. 

This privacy policy may change if new developments give cause to do so. You can find the most current privacy policy here. Eindhoven University of Technology advises you to consult this privacy policy regularly, so that you are aware of these changes. The privacy policy always indicates the most recent date of change. This privacy policy was last modified on May 15, 2018.
 

Permission and retention period

By completing and submitting the application form you agree that Eindhoven University of Technology will process and save your details and documents in our database. The information you have provided to Eindhoven University of Technology including CV, letter of application and other attachments will be retained by Eindhoven University of Technology for a period of 4 weeks after the end of the application procedure. 

If you register for the Job Agent we will retain your details (e-mail address and preferences) until the moment of cancellation. If you are employed by Eindhoven University of Technology, your details, which you submitted during the application procedure, will be part of your personnel file.
 

Data processing

To complete your application we process first name, last name, address, postal code, place of residence, country, telephone number(s), email address, your CV, your letter of application, attachments and, if applicable, information about your educational background. 

To set up your Job Agent we will process your first name, last name, email address, your search criteria and the frequency chosen to receive the Job Agent.
 

Delete or modify data

You can delete your data stored in the portal yourself at any time. If you delete your data, all your current application procedures will also be closed and removed (including the attachments you submitted). 

It is not possible to modify attachments that you submitted during a job application. These attachments are final the moment you submit your application and can only be deleted if you also delete your entire profile and data.
