How to apply for student housing

Newly admitted Master's students receive a confirmation statement in April or May from the International Relations Office, which includes the option to apply for housing. If you indicate this on the online confirmation statement, the TU/e will mediate in finding housing for you.

What happens after we have received your application?

All students who have returned the confirmation statement and paid the guarantee fee before the deadline of 1 June, will be contacted regarding housing. After you have returned the confirmation statement and paid the guarantee fee, you will receive an e-mail with a request to express a preference for one of the housing options. Before you reply to that e-mail, you should carefully read the information about the different housing options. You can express a preference for:

  • Vestide (you cannot express a preference for shared or private accommodation within this option)
  • Camelot
  • Eindhoven2Stay
  • Friendly Housing, student room
  • Friendly Housing, studio at Veldmaarschalk Montgomerylaan

Please note that availability within all options is limited. Housing is allotted on a first come, first serve basis. You will be informed, should your preferred option no longer be available and we will discuss your options with you.
