Proof of scholarship
You may send proof that you have applied for or have been granted a scholarship (other than ALSP scholarships) or a loan as proof of finances. This would be accepted by the TU/e instead of a bank statement.
The proof should be a copy of your application to the scholarship of loan organisation, or a letter or statement from the scholarship or loan organization acknowledging your application or the granting of the scholarship or loan.
The scholarship or loan amount should be sufficient to cover the 16,000 euros of the guarantee fee.
Please bear in mind that when arranging your study visa in May/June you will be asked by the Dutch Immigration Service to prove that you are able to fund the first year living expenses in the Netherlands.
Students are therefore obliged to prove that they have a minumum of 12,500 euros, in addition to the 16,000 euros guarantee fee, in order to complete the visa and residence permit application procedure. Full information on this will be sent to you in May.
