The TU/e offers a free language course ‘Dutch in Summer’. This course is designed for students with no (or very little) prior knowledge of the Dutch language and is open to international Bachelor’s and Master’s students. You can register for this course via the app. Registration is open between June 1st – July 15th, 2024.
Course dates: August 5 th - 17 th, 2024
- Classes are on campus for 2 hours per day and preparation for the class is an additional 3 hours daily.
- You will receive the course book on day 1.
- The exam will take place at the 17th of August, on campus.
- If you register for this course, you are required to attend all course sessions. The lessons are free of charge, but you will have to pay a no-show/cancellation fee of €50 if you cancel after July 15th, if you do not show up for more than 75% of the classes or if you miss the exam.
- The non-refundable administration fee is €30.
As this is a very popular class and places are limited, students will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. This means that acceptance will depend on the date that you register and payment of the administration fee.
Disclaimer: do not underestimate the course’s high pace. You need to study thoroughly during your two weeks of course participation to keep up with classes.
