Of CoUrsE! stands for Construction Management and Urban Development study association Eindhoven. It is the study association for the master track CM&UD founded in 2001. In 2005, this master track changed its name to CME (Construction Management & Engineering) as a crossover between the Industrial Engineering & Innovation Sciences and the Department of the Built Environment. Since 2007 it has been part of the 4TU CME education program together with Delft University of Technology (TUD) and Twente University (UT) where the master track CME also exists. Urban Development will always play an important role within the master track as a graduation subject, distinguishing itself from graduation subjects of the CME master tracks from TUD and UT. CME is one of the five master tracks that has been labeled "innovative" by the 4TU conference.
Of CoUrsE! does not operate in a traditional manner, but more as an entrepreneurial study association. Entrepreneurial means that it does not operate as a subinstitution, but rather as an independent and goal-oriented organization. It operates in between students, the master track and major corporations to accomplish its own objectives and those of its stakeholders. The primary focus of of CoUrsE! is its student members; promoting their interests is its main goal.
Since its foundation, study association of CoUrsE! has committed itself to achieving the goals mentioned above. To this end, of CoUrsE! organizes excursions, lectures, symposiums, study trips, receptions and parties to enable students to interact with businesses and fellow students.
