The ICT program was the smoothest transition from the theoretical world of the university, to the competitiveness of Industry

Panos Afxentis MSc

Panos Afxentis, PDEng ICT candidate, started on 01/09/2011 and is currently working on his project "Automated Quality Control in Fruits&Vegetables Industry". Panos comes from Greece with a background in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Before the end of my studies in Greece, I decided to do an internship in the Netherlands and the option of the TU/e came to the scene. During these three months of first hands-on and research experience, I got to know the Netherlands and its weather(!), Eindhoven and the PDEng programs. So, after my graduation, the ICT program was the smoothest transition from the theoretical world of the university, to the competitiveness of Industry. The program's industrial projects provide the experience that a Master student seeks, together with professional development. And all this, still under the secure environment of the University.
