FameLab National Final 2021

The National Final of the FameLab, the international science communication competition, will be hosted by TU/e, in this its lustrum year, on Tuesday June 1st.

The FameLab competition offers an international and unique platform to young researchers (between 21 and 40) to inspire and stimulate a large audience on a scientific topic of their choice.

Contestants will present a 3-minute pitch video on a scientific topic of their choice, after which they will answer questions from a jury.

Competing on behalf of TU/e in the final will be the three winners of FameLab TU/e heat: Chan Botter (ID and Team Solid), Kalpit Bakal (ME) and Mohammad Jouy Bar (ME). In addition, the winners from the heats at three other Dutch universities (WUR, UTwente, Amsterdam UMC) will participate in the National Final.

The winner of the Dutch National Final will go on to represent the Netherlands in the online International Final as part of the Cheltenham Science Festival.

Would you like to hear interesting stories about science from these young scientists and researchers? Then please be sure to join us at the FameLab National Final 2021 Online!
