Mind the Step becomes TU/e drivers of Change and Design United

After five successful years in het Klokgebouw the Mind the Step exhibition enters a new phase: as of this year the exhibition will merge into two new exhibitions during the Dutch Design Week:

The exhibition TU/e drivers of Change, featuring all research and projects done at the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) that tackle the challenges of tomorrow ranging from the latest inventions in data processing, solar panels, and smart diagnosis, to new materials, living environments and devices that will be beneficial to the society of tomorrow and after tomorrow.

TU/e Drivers of change
Today’s technology and its role in society is becoming increasingly complex. In a diverse and rapidly changing world, engineers of the future need to consider society’s relationship with technology and respond with responsible innovative solutions. What will our lives look like in 2030? How will technology affect the way we travel or how we create, store and use energy? How will developments in technology impact how we monitor our health or diagnose and treat disease?

We explore these kinds of questions together with public and private partners, identifying and engaging in society’s major challenges. Our scientific projects bring fresh ideas and perspectives which in turn help further advance our research. They explore important challenges in the areas of sustainability, technological development and its impact on our lives and the world around us.

Innovative technology for tomorrow’s everyday lives.
