Italian Design Day

The Ambassador of Italy in the Netherlands, Mr. H. E.  Andrea Perugini, Alderman of the City of Eindhoven Mrs. Monique List and the Director of the Dutch Design Foundation Mr. Martijn Paulen, have the honor to invite you to the Italian Design Day 2019. This year, the Embassy of Italy in The Hague has chosen the City of Eindhoven to host this event.

Special guest is Mr. Stefano Boeri, Architect, Professor and Initiator of multiple initiatives to create a sustainable city of the future. His focus on the relationship between city and nature led to the creation of Vertical Forest. The first one arose in Milano in 2014, meanwhile these urban, high rise vertical forests pop-up around the globe. In Eindhoven, at Strijp S, the first vertical forest in social housing will be accomplished by Sint Trudo in 2019. 

The conference is in collaboration with Design Academy Eindhoven and the Eindhoven University of Technology and will take place on Monday 25th March 2019, from 15.30h.
