Student loans & grants
If you are in full-time higher education in the Netherlands, you may be eligible for a Dutch student grant.
You must satisfy the following three requirements:
• You must be under the age of 30 when you become entitled to a student grant.
• You must be a Dutch national or have the same rights.
• You must be in full-time or dual education.

Students with the nationality of an EEA country* or Switzerland, who are under 30 years of age, may be eligible for a tuition fee loan from the Dutch student grants organization. For more information please go to the page "Grant for tuition fees or course fees" on the website of the Dutch DUO-IB.
* The European Economic Area (EEA) countries are Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lichtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands, United Kingdom.
In some cases, Belgian students may use their Belgian student grant to follow a Bachelor or Master program at TU/e. To get more information please check out www.studietoelagen.be
In some cases, German students that fulfil the requirements may use their German student grant in the Netherlands to follow a Bachelor's or Master's program at TU/e. This differs per German state. For more information on possibilities and requirements, please check out www.bafoeg.bmbf.de.
