WALDUR is the power electronics and energy systems debating club of e.t.s.v. Thor.

The student debating club Waldur organises lectures and visits to power engineering-related companies for the students at the Department of Electrical Engineering. Visits to for example the Dutch testing laboratories of Kema, to TenneT (the Transmission System Operator TenneT (TSO)) and a symposium about "innovative electromechanics" have already taken place.

Furthermore Waldur keeps in touch with the graduated students in the power engineering field. Once a year a special day with an interesting excursion and a diner is organised for graduated students.

For more information about Waldur, information about interesting excursions in the near past to power engineering-related companies and for future activities of Waldur, visit the website.
