Per 1 October 2013 a large consortium consisting of European companies and universities started the Marie Curie ITN project ADEPT, ADvanced Electric Powertrain Technology. This project is coordinated by the TU/e at the group Electromechanics and Power Electronics.
The European Union's subsidy program OP-OOST also sponsors projects within the EPE-group (click here for more information).
Furthermore, the group is involved in the ESPESA project. The mission of ESPESA project is to strengthen the research activity and to implement a Technology Transfer&Innovation Management strategy at Centre for Applied Research in Electrical Engineering and Sustainable Development (CAREESD), established in 2010 within Technical University of Cluj-Napoca.
