To design a low cost high-efficient highly-dynamic high-speed electrical drive applied to a turbo-compressor application. The drive is dedicated to operate in artificial respirator where the motor is directly connected to a turbo compressor. The motor needs to work in a wide speed range (min is 0 rpm and max is 80 krpm) due to inhalation and exhalation modes, which means that the motor continuously working in dynamics. Also the drive should be able to accelerate up to maximum speed within 70 ms. The respirator is supposed to operate autonomously supplied from a battery, thus possible energy saving possibilities need to be considered.
