Serious games are becoming of ever increasing importance as new key education and training tools.

The objective of this project is to develop support the development of integrated serious games in a Services Oriented Architecture. The project consists of three main elements. The first is a catalogue of services for serious games, a central repository of well-documented and ready-to-use online services to encourage and speed up the creation of games in a wide variety of subjects. The second is a methodology for serious games analysis and design, a tool to enable a systematic representation of serious games, depicting the ways that the game and pedagogical components are connected to each other throughout the game, in a concrete level. The project also foresees the development of one service, as a proof of concept, to provide adaptive capabilities to a serious game in a collaborative setting.
