Biografie

Tugce Martagan is an Assistant Professor and Marie Sklodowska Curie Research Fellow in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Innovation Sciences at Eindhoven University of Technology. She received her Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2015). Her research interests include stochastic modeling and optimization, Markov decision processes, queuing theory, and reliability engineering. She is interested in the inter-disciplinary applications of operations research and management sciences, especially in the context of biomanufacturing operations, pharmaceutical supply chains ,and engineer-to-order systems. She is the recipient of the first prize in the POMS Applied Research Challenge (2016), the honorable mention in the George B. Dantzig dissertation award (2016), the finalist of the MSOM student paper competition (2015), and the Ron Walsh outstanding MSc thesis award (2010).
