Biografie

René van de Molengraft received the M.Sc. degree (cum laude) in Mechanical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, Eindhoven, The Netherlands, in 1986. From 1986 until 1990 he was a research assistant at Eindhoven University of Technology. In 1990 he received the Ph.D. degree from Eindhoven University of Technology on the subject of Identification of Mechanical Systems for Control. In 1991 he fulfilled his military service. Since 1992 he is a staff member of the Control Systems Technology group of the Mechanical Engineering Department of Eindhoven University of Technology (assistant professor from 1992 to 2008, associate professor from 2008). In 2005, he founded the Tech United Robocup team (vice world champion in 2008, 2009 and 2010). Since 2008, he is an associate editor of IFAC Mechatronics.
