Process control/automation used for research project such as: Kinetics of hydroformylation using Pt/Sn catalyst of Ruben van Duren.
Characteristics
- Controls gas flows, pressures, temperatures and agitators of 4 identical, independently operable autoclave experiments.
- Switching of required valves with the Siemens S7 PLC with Intouch Human Machine Interface (HMI)
- Automated rinse cycles and measurements (Siemens S7). Communication with all peripherals via the Profibus system
- Alarm, data and historical logging. Link to the local EPC gas detection system
