Realization of a fully optical memory element, 4 glass fibers are coupled to the photonic chip at an accuracy of ± 0.25 µm. The mechanical coupling structure is stable within the measured temperature range of 10 ºC to 30 ºC and the housing is hermetically sealed such that no leak is apparent at an underpressure of 10^-9 Pa.
