TGD would like to invite you to our next movienight! This time we'll be showing Rafea: Solar Mama, as always in the TU/e Common Room.

Rafea: Solar Mama is a documentary about the trials and tribulations faced by Rafea, an illiterate Jordanian Bedouin. She gets the chance to enroll in the Barefoot College solar program in India, where she is trained to be a solar engineer, and follows her aspirations of lighting up her village by harnessing the power of solar energy.

The movie will be followed by an interactive discussion, and snacks, coffee and tea will be provided.
