TU/e StartUp Night on April 28, 2024: To be repeated
Reflecting on Alumni Startup Night 2024, a collaboration between Tilburg University and Eindhoven University of Technology Alumni relations, The Gate and IQONIC.
It was an honor to welcome esteemed speakers reflecting on the role of innovative startups in the energy transition: our rectores magnifici Wim van de Donk and Silvia Lenaerts, along with our alumni, Member of the European Parliament Mohammed Chahim and startup founders Martijn Ildiz (IM Efficiency), Bas Verkaik (ELEO), and Harmen van Heist (Spark). Their insights into the dynamic world of startups and the power of alumni networks left a lasting impression.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the vibrant discussions. Special thanks to Bob van der Meulen and Cas Verstappen of RoundOne Ventures for skillfully guiding us through the program.

The role of universities has changed tremendously in recent decades. We evolved from knowledge institutions to drivers of innovation and partners in research for companies. Nowadays, we increasingly bridge the gap between fundamental research and the development of special products.
Collaboration is the key to success.
One of the core values of the TU/e is collaboration. To begin with, between our own faculties and institutes. And thanks to initiatives such as Brainport, we have grown into an incubator for innovations that find their way into practice ever faster.
The Startup Night is a collaboration of Eindhoven University of Technology, Tilburg University, The Gate, IQONIC and Round One Student Investment Fund Brabant. Please note that this event will be held in English.
