New service-supply concept awarded runner-up in Wagner prize competition
The first prize landed with another team, but the team presenting the new service-supply concept for ASML was still very proud with their nomination!
The team, Douniel Lamghari, Geert-Jan van Houtum and Rob Basten, wears the nomination with pride. Douniel: "Although we did not win, it was a great experience to be part of this practice-based research competition. It is a good competition to show your work to practice-based researchers." Geert-Jan adds: “Because we were in the final, we got extra PR for our work and our university (we were listed in the Awards Hall and came back in INFORMS news messages) and to a publication in the INFORMS Journal on Applied Analytics, in the special issue on this competition which will appear next year.” Rob: “It is a great competition for implemented work, now or in the future”
