TU/e cooperation with industry

TU/e is one of the global frontrunners in academic collaboration with industry. This is unsurprising as the university was founded in 1956 at the request of the region’s high-tech industry. The university has been the beating heart of the innovation ecosystem of the Brainport Eindhoven region for many decades. We collaborate intensively with high-tech companies, but also with top clinical hospitals and other organizations. In doing so, we not only ensure societal impact and knowledge transfer but also contribute to economic growth and the creation of opportunities for students and for science.
