Climate scientist Pieter Pauw has been appointed January 1 as editor of Climate Policy, a leading academic journal that publishes high-quality research on all aspects of climate policy, including mitigation and adaptation.

Pauw is tremendously excited to take on this role, emphasizing that Climate Policy not only focuses on academic research, but also aims to support policy making to address climate change. As editor, he aims to strengthen both academic output and impact on policymakers, NGOs and climate negotiators.

Another climate scientist from the TU/e, Heleen de Coninck, has been serving as a member of the editorial board of Climate Policy for many years. Together they will contribute to unlocking innovative ideas and research-driven insights to effectively respond to the challenges of climate change.
