In November 2023 Alex Lamb started as Postdoc in the Membrane Materials and Processes Group
Alex obtained his PhD from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT University) in Melbourne, Australia. His thesis focused on experimental and computational studies of heterogeneous catalysts for biodiesel transformations.
As part of the MMP, Alex will join the Electrified consortium and work on the bench-scale of energy efficient electro-osmotic dewatering of biomass. Both this project and the Electrified consortium aim to significantly reduce energy use in industry by exploring energy efficient, electrical techniques for the dewatering and drying of various biomass materials.
