Alfred Saupe Medal awarded to Albert Schenning

On Thursday 14th March, during the German Liquid Crystals Conference 2024 in Essen the Alfred Saupe Medal has been awarded to Albert Schenning for his outstanding work in the field of liquid crystal based functional materials. In commemoration of professor Alfred Saupe, the Alfred-Saupe-Stiftung - Alfred Saupe Foundation - together with the German Liquid Crystal Society (DFKG) awards the Alfred Saupe Prize to outstanding individuals from all areas of research and technology involving liquid crystals and mesophases.
