PhD Defense: High Performance Polyurethanes: Novel synthetic mechanisms and improved thermal properties

Yunfei Gao defended her PhD thesis at the department of Chemical Engineering and Chemistry in May 2023.
She started her PhD in March 2019 in the Polymer Performance Materials (SPP) group under the supervision of Prof. Željko Tomović and Prof. Rint Sijbesma.
During her PhD research, she focused on investigating the formation of isocyanurates and imides, and applying these structures in polyurethane materials in order to improve their chemical and physical properties.
