Ivona Glišić has joined as PhD Student
Ivona joined the Polymer Performance Materials group at the Eindhoven University of Technology as a PhD student from the 1st of October 2023
Ivona Glišić received her BSc. (2021) and MSc. (2023) degrees in Chemical Science & Engineering from the University of Twente with cum laude.
During her BSc. she investigated vapor sorption of block and random copolymer brushes using Molecular Dynamics simulations under the supervision of Dr. Ir. Sissi de Beer. Furthermore, Ivona completed her MSc. internship in the Polymer Performance Materials group (supervision of Prof. Željko Tomović) where she developed closed-loop recyclable polyimines derived from bio-based resources. For her MSc. thesis, she worked under the supervision of Prof. Frederik Wurm on a reversible labile modification of starch as a platform for biodegradable polymers . Currently, Ivona is a Ph.D. candidate working on the theoretical and experimental investigation of the formation of organic aerogels under the guidance of Prof. Željko Tomović and Prof. Remco Tuinier in Polymer Performance Materials (SPM) and Physical Chemistry (SPC) groups at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e)
