June 23, 2021

The project RETAILER received the EUREKA grant.

The project RETAILER received the EUREKA grant. The research aims to advance holistic stock management by overcoming technological barriers of rapid stock movements. This will be achieved by considering the latest trends in omni-channel retailing and combining offline and online forecasting analytics tools that are capable of tracking real time stock and providing inventory replenishment decisions with less human involvement.

RETAILER will provide a new service and an accompanying platform with a novel use of hardware and software integration. This novel platform will enhance overall customer experience, hence the customer loyalty to retailers. Due to its modularity, respective technology will enable expanding these benefits to a huge variety of retailers. The developed technology will not only be scalable but also adaptable.

The consortia consists of Zumbul Atan and Tom van Woensel from Eindhoven University of Technology and academicians and practitioners from MediaMarkt (The Netherlands), Vispera Information Technologies (Turkey), Inveon Digital Commerce Solutions Limited (Turkey) and Route One Consulting (Singapore).
