The vacancy holder and the HR advisor assess all applications. If you are on our shortlist, you will be invited for a first interview. Depending on the position, several interviews may follow with one or more selection committees. For the academic positions of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor, a Recruitment Advisory Committee will be appointed and you will be requested to give a presentation to the Committee. Telephone or video conferencing interviews may be held with international candidates.
To ensure that you are the best fit for the position, we may make use of an additional assessment performed by a third party. If we require you to go through this process, you will receive more detailed information at the time.
We carry out reference checks to get a clear picture of your prior professional performance. You choose which references to supply and no one will be contacted without your consent.
After the interview, we will keep you informed about the outcome of your application. If you have been interviewed, but are not selected for the position, you will be informed of this personally, with a clear explanation of the reasons you were not chosen.
If you are selected for the position, we will make you an offer and discuss our employment conditions. For Associate and Full Professors, the Executive Board has to decide on the final appointment.
