Use of the Library
The TU/e Library in the MetaForum building is accessible to the general public for free consultation of the printed collection.
Book lending to alumni, retired staff and persons from outside TU/e
If you wish to borrow books you must be registered as a member of the TU/e Library and require a library card.
Library card
Customers may register as library members on production of a valid identification (passport or driving license) and a document carrying one's address. Please register at the Library information desk. A Library card costs € 13.50 and is valid for one year. For retired staff Library cards are free of charge.
Up to 4 items may be borrowed at one time.
Loan period
Books can be borrowed for a 4-week period . Please return borrowed items on time. The Library charges penalties for exceeding the loan period.
Loan can be renewed if items have not been reserved by other users. Renewal is permitted up to three times.
Loan by mail
The TU/e Library does not issue books to customers from outside the University by mail. It is possible however to submit requests for books and photocopies from the TU/e Library at your local public library.
