Sustainability @ TU/e - this is how
At TU/e we practice Sustainability: it is one of the key strategic priorities of our university.
This means, for example, that we aim to research and implement sustainable practices, aimed at tackling the challenges of tomorrow into our Campus Operations, choose our partners wisely, practice transparency, and enable students to become the change agents of tomorrow!
This is done with the aid of our Sustainability Office and in collaboration with key stakeholders, such as the GO Green Office, and other groups from all four dimensions of the university.
The Sustainability Office
The Sustainability Office is a central team dedicated to integrating Sustainability in all domains of the University and beyond. We monitor and stimulate the transition to a sustainable University, advise our Executive Board, and connect all necessary stakeholders.
A part of the Sustainability Office is the TU/e GO Green Office (GGO), a team of students committed to integrating Sustainability into the lives of all TU/e students.
The Sustainability Office collaborates closely with our Sustainability Ambassador, Anna J. Wieczorek and in partnership with various internal and external departments and organizations. An Advisory Board for Sustainability provides guidance and advice.

Join our Sustainability Network!
Whether you are part of TU/e or come from an external organisation - join forces and let's grow our Network!
During our first Sustainability Day @ TU/e on October 3rd 2024, we joined forces to create a map of our Sustainability network in the region. Together, we built an overview of our network which will give all of us great insights into possibilities for expanding and strengthening collaborations between organizations and businesses from the South of the Netherlands and colleagues and students from the university. After the workshop attendees got to go home with new ideas for future collaborations, and concrete connections with other parties involved, to continue the conversation.
