Roadmap

  1. Check the admission requirements

TU/e, TU Delft of Universiteit Twente Bachelor?
You can follow a master's program at TU/e. Check the doorstroommatrix to see if you can start directly or whether you still need to follow some courses in the undergraduate program.

Bachelor from an other Dutch university?
Check the doorstroommatrix to see if you can start directly. If this is not the case, we assess individually whether you are admissible to the TU/e master program.

    Hbo diploma?
Hbo bachelor degrees do not give direct access to TU/e master's programs. You must first complete a pre-master program. Check the doorstroommatrix to see for which Master programs you can enroll, after finishing the pre-master program.

  2. Apply via Studielink (1 May at the latest)

Apply via Studielink before 1 May. You can also apply for your study funding. Studielink is the national information system where you need to register if you want to do a higher education program.

    Useful tips:

    1. If you live in the Netherlands, you need a DigiD for Studielink. Ask this in a timely manner. It will take 5 business days before you receive a sign-in code.
    2. Check if the correct e-mail address is in Studielink. This is the email address to which TU/e will send you messages in the future. Keep an eye on your mailbox preferably on a regular basis (don’t forget the junk mail!)

  3. Regularly check the status in Studielink

Regularly check the status of your application in Studielink. On your personal Studielink page it will show what you will need to complete to make your application final. Keep an eye on your e-mail (also check your spam). We will inform you via e-mail if you need to do something.

  4. Enter your payment information in Studielink

Starting in June, in 'My To Do List' in Studielink, the option 'Enter your payment details' will appear. You can authorize TU/e to collect the tuition fees in a single payment or in 10 terms. The first payment will take place in early September.

Via Studielink you can authorize TU/e until 1 September to collect the tuition fees. After 1 September, authorization by Studielink is no longer possible. Then you can download the authorization form on our website and return it to us.

  6. Get proof of enrollment: you're officially a TU/e student!

After completing the enrollment process (including payment of tuition fee), you are officially enrolled at TU/e.

    You will receive:
