Telecommunication technology is at the core of our modern information society. It is a dynamic area, combining knowledge of electrical engineering, mathematics, IT, physics, chemistry sciences are all combined. Our Connected World Technologies program offers a broad grounding in all these areas, with the freedom to define your own personal path.
The Connected World Technologies program is available as an optional track through four departments at TU/e:
- Electrical Engineering
- Mathematics and Computer Science
- Chemical Technologies
- Industrial Engineering and Innovation Sciences
Each department offers its own profile, comprising a broad range of core courses followed by specialization through electives and a final research project.
Core courses include:
- Digital network techniques
- Performance analysis
The Connected World Technologies program is in essence the Master’s program of Electrical Engineering with your specialization focused on the research groups within the Connected World domain.
The independent judgment by the NVAO strengthens higher education institutions in their quality culture. On the basis of the judgments of NVAO higher education programmes are recognized and students receive a legally recognized degree. In the Netherlands, NVAO assesses the internal quality assurance pursued by universities and the quality of the programmes they provide.
